Dr. (Dj) Deepjot Singh is an established and highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 25 years of experience and has a passion for understanding the social determinants of healthcare that affect equity, patient safety, quality of care and well-being. Dr. Singh received a B.S. in Psychobiology at UCLA; obtained a medical degree at Chicago Medical School; and completed her residency at Women's and Children's Hospital, USC-LA County Hospital.
She furthered her education with an executive MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business in 2018 which led to understanding the need for strategy and advocacy in mitigating health disparities, improving patient safety and quality of care delivered and the need for intersection of physician leadership in various industries, communities, businesses, start up Health tech and clinical medicine.
She currently serves as the Chair of Medical Staff Performance Improvement at Torrance Memorial Hospital, an Affiliate of Cedars Sinai, and is the co-chair for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Patient Safety and Quality Improvement for California. Dr. Singh was selected by ACOG to attend the prestigious national Robert Cefalo Leadership Institute in March 2022. She is also a co-Chair of the National Mom & Baby Action Network Dismantling Racism and Discrimination Workgroup for the March of Dimes, and a physician lead for the inaugural launch (2020-2021) of the Cherished Futures for Black Moms and Babies Collaborative pilot program and looks forward to continuing her work with the second cohort (2022-2023).
