Objective: Provide care and contribute to the Delfina Medical Group team as a supervising Physician to support telemedicine initiatives.
About Us: Delfina Medical Group provides telemedicine support alongside Delfina Care Inc., a leading pregnancy care platform, to collectively improve maternal and child health outcomes. We are looking for someone passionate about technology-based patient engagement and education to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 establishment of care visits for our remote patient monitoring within Delfina Medical Group. Remote patient monitoring includes blood pressure, glucose, weight and mood metrics.
- Create establishing care protocols and safety measures around a telemedicine based platform.
- Serve as a Supervisory Physician role to mid level & RDN, IBCLC providers for the fulfillment of billing requirements
- Update protocols and procedures on an as needed basis to work safely and effectively.
Requirements:
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certified MD or DO
- Active Texas practice license - License in good standing to practice medicine
- Active Texas DEA license
- Hospital/admitting privileges at a local hospital in your region - preferably Houston or San Antonio area
- Private medical office address in your region - preferably Houston or San Antonio area
- Texas Medicaid-enrolled provider
- 3+ years total experience practicing in person
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Available for phone and video meetings on an intermittent basis with the Delfina Medical Group.
- Proficient in Google platform applications and comfortable with engaging in virtual/video patient visits.
Compensation/Benefits/Time Commitment:

- Time commitment: 1-4 hour initial commitment with additional ongoing work on an intermittent basis. Hourly contracted pay rate.
- Compensation: the compensation range for this contract position in the United States is $125-200 per hour. While this range represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training, new hires who meet most of the requirements above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
