Zak King

Zak is an enthusiastic engineer who likes to work at the intersection of software, health, and biotechnology. He has led software and research teams in academia and industry, and brings a passion for great software design to Delfina, where he leads the Engineering team.

He received his B.S.E. from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from UC San Diego, where he studied systems biology and metabolic engineering.

Zak spends his weekends hiking, biking, climbing, and dodging rattlesnakes amongst the San Diego chaparral with his wife and two little kids.
